Stanley Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug review

We’ve taken this mug out on a number of occasions now, and in typical Stanley style, the Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug is a bit special and has one very handy feature.

All Stanley stuff is built to last, become your ‘go-to’ equipment and stand the test of time. We all love gear we can rely on and have in our service for a very long time.

Having given it some thorough testing, we can confirm that the Trigger Action Travel Mug delivers what it promises and doesn’t leak whilst it's doing it. There are no drips from the lid, it seals tight when the button is released and keeps your drink inside, meaning it won’t leak all over the contents of your rucksack or work bag.

SINGLE HANDED - Besides keeping your drinks hot or cold for long periods of time, this super handy mug is leak proof and can be opened/closed with just one hand.

Until you’ve actually tried this feature, it’s hard to appreciate just how useful this function is, especially when it does it so reliably and consistently.

Unlike traditional bottles/flasks, you only have to use one hand to access your drink. Just press the button on the side of the Trigger Action Travel Mug and the clever lid opens up.

This is great for using when you only have one hand free, ideal for walking along with a walking pole for example. No need for two hands to flip a lid or screw a cap off.

What about if you have mucky hands from messing with the car, pottery, art, farming, mud pie or slop-dosh making, gardening to name a few, just press the trigger/button and have a drink. Dirty hands won’t get by your mouth either as you don’t have to touch the Classic Mug near the mouth opening.
