In April of 2018 we were asked to test the wonderful Vango Serenity tent. The weather was very kind to us and we chose to stay at a lovely Camping and Caravan Club site at Rhandirmwyn, Llandovery in Wales.
Below are some photos and details of our stay. It was a great campsite, very clean and well worth considering for a stay.
Located right by the River Towy for some pleasant walks, This campsite also as a decent sized and fenced dog walking area. Our 2 loved it, so if you camp with dogs then this comes highly recommended.
Rhandirmwyn campsite is set in a beautiful location, surrounded (and protected) by some wonderful Welsh hills. The facilities were absolutely spotless and very modern, the staff we very friendly ad always on hand if they were needed.
The photos below show some snaps from our adventures around the area. These included wonderful walk around Usk reservoir with the doggos, a stop off at the very bizarre Llyn Brianne Dam, A visit to Henryd water fall and a few other sights. The area doesn’t disappoint and Rhandirmwyn Campsite was a great basecamp for exploring the surrounding area.
